Do you remember playing make belief when you were little? Or acting out a character from a fairytale? I recently came across a company in the United Kingdom who plans fantasy/fairytale style events. To feel the magic of each event, all participants are to dress the part according to the guidelines they offer.

Their next ball is called The Enchanted Rose Ball. It takes place in the grand halls at Gosford House near Edinburgh, Scotland on May 9-10, 2026. This will be their 8th ball and it is just for one night. Your choice as to which night you wish to attend.

What you will experience at this ball will be historical dance workshops, themed performances, mysterious surprise side quests, prosecco (or a non-alcoholic alternative) and canapes throughout the evening, photo and video booth stations, a quartet to entertain you, book signing booths from an author, and a DJ playing hits inspired by fantasy, empowerment and nostalgia.

For more details on this upcoming ball, click here. Once on their website, click Events at the top and go to The Enchanted Rose Ball . Do read through their blog as there are some interesting articles there about where to find your clothing and accessories as well as articles of past balls.

To me this was an opportunity I couldn't miss. So, on October 1 at 11 AM PST, I will be logging on to purchase our tickets for this ball. There are three ticket tiers (Fable, Chronical, Legend). Each tier above Fable gives you something more. From earlier entry times to an afternoon tea . You can find all the details of each tier on their website here.

If you enjoy fantasy and fairytale stories, this would be a great time to take advantage of this opportunity. I will let you know in a future blog if I managed to secure tickets.
