Sail along the Rhine River beginning in Basel, Switzerland then head to France, Germany and Holland. Visit Germany’s Black Forest, best known for Black Forest ham, cherry cake and the cuckoo clock. Continue into Strasbourg, France and see the red-sandstone Gothic-style cathedral with ancient murals and the fascinating astronomical clock. Visit the La Petite France district with its quaint shops and bistros.
Visit the ruins of Heidelberg Castle, which towers over the city or stop in Mainz for a guided walk and a visit to the Gutenberg Museum. Sail to the charming wine town of Rűdesheim and visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, then pass through the Rhine Gorge and see ancient castles on cliffs high above the water.
Your last stop is Cologne, Germany, a 2,000-year-old city known for its Gothic-style architecture and famous twin-spired cathedral.
Every town visited will give you a choice of shore excursions to enjoy. For those who love wine, there are wine experiences and activities for you. Before We Begin Planning
Before your journey takes shape, we’ll schedule a brief call to talk through your travel ideas, answer any questions, and explain how we work. This ensures we’re the right fit and that your trip is planned with intention from the start.
Once you decide to move forward, we’ll send a planning agreement for signing. Planning fees are collected at that time, prior to the start of any trip design. Please note that all planning fees are non-refundable.
